I'm Dina Shale, founder and driving force behind the Multi Award Winning CPD Accredited Equine Facilitated Learning Not for Profit Company "The Way of The Horse," I'm passionate about helping individuals like you achieve their personal and business dreams through the transformative power of working with horses.

My journey into Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) began after experiencing trauma as a child, which naturally led me down the path of healing and empowerment. Through my own experiences, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact that EFL can have on individuals' lives, and I'm dedicated to spreading awareness of its benefits far and wide. Having travelled around the globe learning tools and techniques to bring to my clients in their healing journey, I am willing to share my success & Learning.

As a result of my extensive work in the EFL field the National Lottery awarded us £237,000 for a three-year initiative. In response to the global pandemic in 2020, I developed a life-changing program aimed at aiding individuals who'd endured trauma, harnessing the therapeutic power of horses. And Project Pony was born.

This program has impacted lives all over the world and I am passionate about sharing the power of this program with others so that they can achieve the same results for themselves and their communities.

I am living the dream, going from a passion in my heart of helping others to living on site in Lincolnshire with my herd of 7 horses and my 2 dogs, 2 cats and 8 chickens.

A Complete Trauma Informed Equine Facilitated Learning Business Solution

Over the course of 12 months, you will emerge a knowledgeable, trauma-informed and confident facilitator that will take this program into your community.

We will be collapsing timelines!

I have collated all the knowledge I have learned over the last 10 years into the best bits for you to be able to move forward and understand what is required to hold space for horses and also humans. This course will give you all the knowledge you need to be able to deliver a structured program to adults and children that give transformational results with horses. We will give you a trauma-informed approach

This is the Detailed Curriculum of our Project Pony Accelerator spanning over the 12 months.

On-Site Visits:
1. Two visits to The Way of the Horse HQ for hands-on experience and practical learning.

Online Learning:
1. Six online learning sessions live in your training area, covering essential topics and techniques.
Monthly Check-Ins:
1. Regular check-ins through Telegram to monitor progress and address any questions.
Telegram Group:
1. Access to a Telegram group for connecting and discussing with fellow coaches, fostering a supportive community.
Supervision Sessions:
1. Supervision sessions with lead professionals to guide you through practice modules, build confidence, and provide tools for handling challenging moments.
2. Minimum of six supervision sessions required to complete the course (additional cost applies).
Support Materials:
1. A comprehensive manual of scripts and information to support your sessions and boost your confidence.
CPD Accreditation:

THE CURRICULUM AT A GLANCE

Starting on the 1st October 2024 and running until March 2025 on line, you will have ample time to learn and start to integrate the learning with confidence. We have designed the curriculum in a logical phase that builds on each other, allowing you to progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. This is your dream job working with horses and people and we are here to guide you through each step of the way.

Theory based video trainings and resources that you can access at your own pace

Trauma informed Tuition - Learning the core principles of Nervous system Regulation in on-line recordings for humans and horses.

Learning how to track your own system to work with people as everyone now carries baggage of their own and they bring it into your space with horses

Teaching you how to go from learning to embodyment and then integration .

Principles of Facilitation and Mental Health Considerations . Everything you need to know about what you can do and say when working with Horses and people with Trauma.

Monthly live Q&A with Dina Shale (Director & Founder) or Angela Spokes (Director & Advanced Instructor).

In addition to the learning modules and Q & A support you will also be invited to attend on sitetraining for a total of 7 days, split into two (1 consisting of 4 days in April and 3 days in September)

You may have been around horses all your life but this is a totally different dimension to work with a prey animal, so you will learn and grow in a different way.

Q: Do I need any prior experience with horses or equine facilitated learning techniques to enroll in Project Pony?

A: No we teach you everything you need to know to be confident and equipped including being trauma informed.
Q: How long does it typically take to complete the Project Pony program and become a CPD Accredited Equine Facilitated Learning Coach?

A: From start to finish, you can learn the online work and also the coaching on site in around 6 months. We offer support up to 12 months and additional one-2-one calls if needed beyond the syllabus for up to 12 months.
Q: What kind of ongoing support is available after completing the Project Pony program?

A: We offer an ongoing Telegram group for group chatting with us and each other, and we will register you on our website. We offer additional One2One sessions should you need them from us. These are supervision sessions /support. These are not included in the package.
Q: Is this a franchise?

A: No. This is not a franchise, it is an equine facilitated learning business solution.
Q: Can I enrol at anytime?

A: No. This course only opens once per year and has limited spaces. Check the investment section for the end of enrolment date.

Q: Do I need to be a psychologist or pychotherapist to do this course?

A: You don't to have any qualifications as we teach all the trauma-informed work to you and then you are assessed on your knowledge from last week. This will show us you are safe with clients and will not retraumatised clients.
Q: What sets Project Pony apart from other equine facilitated learning programs?

A: What makes Project Pony truly unique among other equine facilitated learning programs Project Pony is CPD Accredited, Accredited by Heir and also IPMH (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine). Most EFL programs dont hold this high standard
We don't just focus on the technical side of working with horses; we blend that with essential business know-how. This means you're not only mastering the art of equine facilitated learning but also learning the ins and outs of running a successful business in this field.
Q: How do i know this program will work for my clients, is this all theory?

A: Dina has successfully created transformations for 100’s of people in Leicestershire and successfully built out teams to provide additional support. She secured £237,000 over 3 years with the National Lottery in 2020 and created a program with a Doctor of Neuroscience and a lecturer of Biology at Loughborough University.
Dina can be found in many magazines and newspapers for her success with this program starting in 2020 and finishing in 2023. The Lottery funding went on until the middle of last year for our community in Leicestershire.
